Umeshut ja Yuzut

19. Genshu Umeshu 19.5%
Quality: Umeshu, liqueur
Made of Japanese appricot ie. ume-fruit. Full bodied, smooth. Taste full of ripe apricot, plum, citrus, yellow raisins and almonds. Very similar to Disaronno Amaretto, but less sweet and with higher acids. . Enjoy as it is with ice or without ice. Excellent with champagne and other sparkling wines, very versatile with coctails.

Quality: Umeshu, liqueur
Made of Japanese appricot l. ume fruit. Very ripe and full bodied liquer and excellent umeshu.
Taste: marzipan, ripe cherry, ripe almond. very similar to Disaronno Amaretto, but
less sweet and with higher acids. . Enjoy as it is with ice or without ice. Excellent with champagne and other sparkling wines, very versatile with coctails.

As umeshus above. Less sweet and packed to very simple tetra-pack. High quality umeshu from the biggest umeshu manufacturer in the World. Superior taste.

22. Hakutsuru Yuzu 10.5%
Quality: Yuzu mild liqueur
Made of distilled spirit and yuzu citrus.
a. Sweet and sour, taste bomb.
Enjoy as it is, or make coctails (Gin, Beer etc.) Little bit like Italian Limonello but less sweet and higher, much higher acids.

Quality: Yuzu-sake/shochu

In fragrance very nicely matured yuzu-lemon, oak syrup and vanilla.. In taste the strong yuzu-lemon is dominant, some quinine, cane sugar. Nice sweet and sour effect. Enjoyed as such or with ice. Excellent mixer for coctails, where lemon aroma is plus. Taste profile differs from Limoncello by lower sugar content and higher acidity.

24. Aizu Homare Yuzu sake 10% 720 ml
Quality: Yuzu-sake
Maker: Aizu Homare, Kitakata
In fragrance ripe yuzu lemon, pomegranate, vanilla. In taste the strong yuzu-lemon is dominant, with some quinine and grapefruit. Nice sweet and sour effect. Enjoyed as such or with ice.
